Sometimes we see it, sometimes we don’t but t are always there. In the case of many Aboriginal people something that is also passed down is fairer skin. In most cases this was the result of circumstances beyond the choice of Aboriginal people. Whether by choice or not, the colour of an Aboriginal person’s skin does not make that person less in any way. It is the family values that shape and give identity to a person.<br /><br /><strong>Pink Design:</strong> </div><div>SACRED CHILDREN – All children are sacred and deserve our love, respect and protection. Children should be free to move about, experience life, find and discovery things, learn, have fun – be allowed to be children BUT know that they remain secure within the boundaries set by their parents, caregivers, Aunts, Uncles, Grandparents and others.<br /></div><div><br /><strong>“I was invited by Family Worker Training and Development Programme to create Welcome posters as a resource:</strong> Karen Maber"</div><div> </div><div> Welcome is much more than a word that is spoken – it is a word that is felt.
